Highway 69 Development

The Yavapai-Prescott Indian Tribe (“YPIT”) is among central Arizona’s most active developers. In March, 2013 YPIT completed its connector road project that provides travelers a direct connection between North State Highway 89 and East State Highway 69. This 1.25 mile parkway creates additional retail and mixed use development opportunities for YPIT.

In addition to YPIT’s parkway connector road project, the 2012 East State Highway 69 expansion project added one new lane to the east and west bound traffic corridor where YPIT’s retail real estate properties are located.

YPIT, in cooperation with the Arizona Department of Transporation (ADOT), is expanding the East State Highway traffic corridor in order to accommodate the anticipated increase in traffic above the current ±40,000 cars per day. This retail corridor is the most travelled section of highway in Prescott and Prescott Valley, Arizona, giving retail, office, mixed use and industrial user the greatest possible consumer exposure within the market.
