Owner of Legacy Jewelry, Mindi Hackett, Frontier Villages latest addition of fine jewelry started her journey as a young girl playing in her mom’s beauty shop when one of her mom’s customers gave her a rough Amethyst. At that point she was hooked and started collected rough and tumbled minerals. Of course, life lead her down many different paths, but her passion for gems never dwindled.
As Mindi grew and matured, so did her affinity for stones turning from tumbled stones to exotic faceted gems. She started by managing jewelry stores for two of the top jewelry retailers in the nation gathering experience and certifications in Diamond and Colored Gemstones through the Diamond Council of America as well as attending courses to obtain her Graduate Gemologist degree with the Gemological Institute of America (GIA). After working for these corporations over the last several years has decided to open her own brick and mortar, giving life to Legacy Jewelry, creating her own Legacy and aiding those in the Prescott area to start memories/legacies of gems of their own.
